FR: Can you cook up an identi.ca DataSource?

Reported by Gustavo Carreno | February 27th, 2010 @ 12:15 AM

I'm asking this due to the IMMEDIATE response I've got when I announced 20Couch on GeekUp's (http://geekup.org) Google Group:

Considering how easy it is to integrate StatusNet support (that is, you use
the same API but point it at a different URL root)... does it support
StatusNet (which is the software which drives identi.ca and provides
microblogging to companies such as Canonical and Motorola)?

If it does, I'm totally in. If not, it's just another twitter client to be
neglected for me I'm afraid.

I must say that, from the demo at least, it looks pretty good :)

I replied to the guy saying that it would probably take you before version 1.0 to get a DataSource out.
I committed you but you are welcome to drop the ball if it doesn't fit your path plan. I don't care taking the fall for my bragging :)
