Unfollow doesn't work

I've tried unfollowing a couple of people but they stick in my feed.
I clicked the + icon and then 'Unfollow'. I got the confirmation message and clicked 'Yes!' but I continue to get their tweets. Looking on the twitter website confirms I'm still following these people.
This was in 1.09 and is still the same in 1.10

Odd. I just unfollowed someone this morning. I'll check it out.
