FR: Ability to mark individual or blocks of posts as read
Reported by Paul Willis | April 7th, 2010 @ 10:43 AM | in 1.06
I'd like to be able to mark individual posts or blocks of posts as read - rather than just the current 'all' option
If I get up in the morning and have 150 unread tweets and I've only got five minutes to read the first few dozen on my iPhone over breakfast before I'm off to work I'd like to be able to remove those.
At the moment I have to read the lot before I can mark them all or else leave them all there and try to find my place again when I get to the office

Agreed. This is a real pain.

This is a plugin. Should work for mobile as well.

This doesn't work for me in mobile. Tried on iPhone and iPad with mobile Safari.
Having said that how exactly is it supposed to work? On the desktop version scrolled tweets are marked as read when I switch between accounts. In mobile this isn't an option as it is a separate page.

It should send the ajax request every 10 tweets that are scrolled or when the page is left. I can see leaving the page not sending the request, but the every 10 should work. Could be an issue w/ detecting when the tweet is scrolled off.

Still not working for me (now on 1.08). I scrolled down, way past 10 tweets, left it for a minute or two scrolled up and down no change. This was the same on the iphone and ipad.
However for the iPad I switched back to the regular desktop version (edited bootstrap.php) and it works fine removing scrolled tweets, just as it does on the desktop.

The scroll off top logic is different for mobile/desktop mode. Both work in a regular browser (forcing mobile mode). I gotta get my hands on an iPhone/touch to see whats going on there.
